Motörhead

Motörhead, a pioneering British rock band, was formed in 1975 by the iconic frontman Lemmy Kilmister. Renowned for their relentless fusion of rock and roll with heavy metal, Motörhead played a crucial role in shaping the speed metal and thrash genres. The classic lineup featured Lemmy on bass and vocals, “Fast” Eddie Clarke on guitar, and Phil “Philthy Animal” Taylor on drums. Their eponymous debut album in 1977 set the tone for their gritty, high-energy sound, but it was the 1979 release “Overkill” that propelled them to international recognition.
