AC/DC, the legendary Australian rock band, traces its origins back to 1973 when brothers Angus and Malcolm Young formed the group in Sydney. Known for their electrifying performances and straightforward, blues-infused hard rock, AC/DC quickly gained recognition. The classic lineup featured Bon Scott as the charismatic lead vocalist, Cliff Williams on bass, and Phil Rudd on drums. Their breakthrough came with the release of the 1979 album “Highway to Hell,” which showcased their anthemic sound and included the iconic title track. Tragedy struck the band in 1980 when Bon Scott passed away, but AC/DC remarkably rebounded by recruiting Brian Johnson as the new frontman.
