Rammstein, the German Neue Deutsche Härte (New German Hardness) industrial metal band, was formed in Berlin in 1994. The band’s lineup comprises vocalist Till Lindemann, guitarists Richard Z. Kruspe and Paul Landers, bassist Oliver Riedel, drummer Christoph Schneider and keyboardist Christian “Flake” Lorenz. Rammstein’s rise to prominence can be attributed to their unique blend of heavy guitar riffs, electronic elements and powerful, theatrical performances. Their self-titled debut album in 1995 set the stage for their explosive sound, marked by Lindemann’s distinctive baritone vocals singing primarily in German. The breakthrough came with “Sehnsucht” (1997), featuring the international hit “Du Hast,” which catapulted them to global fame.
