Powerwolf

Powerwolf, a German power metal band, emerged onto the metal scene in 2003. Formed by the brothers Matthew and Charles Greywolf, the band’s lineup also includes vocalist Attila Dorn, drummer Roel van Helden, and keyboardist Falk Maria Schlegel. Known for their unique blend of power metal and symphonic elements, Powerwolf quickly gained attention with their energetic and anthemic sound. Their lyrical themes often revolve around werewolves, vampires, and other supernatural subjects, adding a theatrical and gothic dimension to their music. Powerwolf’s breakthrough came with the release of “Blood of the Saints” in 2011, which was followed by a string of successful albums, including “Preachers of the Night” (2013) and “The Sacrament of Sin” (2018).
