Parkway Drive

Parkway Drive, an Australian metalcore band, formed in Byron Bay in 2003. Comprising vocalist Winston McCall, guitarists Luke Kilpatrick and Jeff Ling, bassist Jia O’Connor, and drummer Ben Gordon, the band quickly gained recognition for their intense and dynamic live performances. Parkway Drive’s early releases, such as “Killing with a Smile” (2005) and “Horizons” (2007), solidified their presence in the hardcore and metal scenes. Their music combines aggressive breakdowns with melodic elements, and McCall’s visceral and passionate vocals have become a defining characteristic of their sound. The breakthrough came with “Deep Blue” (2010), which charted in multiple countries and marked a more mature and expansive direction for the band. Subsequent albums like “Atlas” (2012) and “Ire” (2015) continued to push boundaries and expand their fanbase globally.
