Linkin Park, formed in Agoura Hills, California, in 1996, rose to prominence as a leading force in the nu-metal and alternative rock scenes. The band’s original lineup included Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, Joe Hahn, and the late Chester Bennington.
